Brad DeBoer was born in a Christian family and grew up very active in the church. At age 16, he repented and placed his trust in Jesus. He studied accounting in college for three years but realized that he wanted to continue working in the landscaping industry, where he had worked since he was 12 years old. He met his wife Janet at a nursery called the Garden of Eden, and they married on July 2, 1982, one year after joining Continental Landscape as a partner. God blessed their business and blessed their family with three sons. In time, the Lord brought Christian young ladies into their lives, and Brad and Janet now have seven grandchildren with whom they get to worship every Sunday. He is now an almond farmer, currently farming 57 acres of almonds. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, and almost anything outdoors. Brad serves on the board of directors for the Sierra Christian Conference Association, a small family campground owned by the OPC in Groveland, CA.
Brad currently serves as a ruling elder at Sovereign Grace OPC in Hughson as well as at Redding Reformed Fellowship as an augmenting elder.
