Jim came to know the Lord in 1986 at a PCUSA church when he was 49 years old. He would later be ordained as an elder in that church. As a new Christian, Jim delved into apologetics and has been guided ever since by Paul’s words in Romans 12:2. His developing theology led him to find a home in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and eventually at Redding Reformed Fellowship. His greatest devotion now is to serve the Lord and his church.
Jim has served as a ruling elder at Redding Reformed since the church was particularized in 2015.
Jim has a degree in electrical engineering but most of his career was in real estate. He and his wife Julie recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. They are blessed to have most of their family, a daughter & son-in-law, one of two granddaughters, and a great-grandson, living in Redding.
